Why not make a wish?
Tanabata is a traditional Japanese event related to summer constellation, celebrating July 7th when the starry lovers Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair) make their yearly rendezvous, it is now a custom to Japanese to write their wish on tanzaku (a strip of paper) and hang on bamboo.
In the lobby of Shiba Park Hotel, we will put bamboo. Guests can write their wish on a tanzaku in any language, and hang it on the bamboo.
Later, the bamboo with tanzakus will be dedicated to a ceremony held at Zojoji Temple.
We hope all of your wishes come true!
